R5 Windlass Anchor

Quick update for future reference if anyone else is to need a new windlass anchor. Cobalt mentions the R5 has a 13lb winch. I found one at Norestar and Lewmar. For my particular case it’s going to be warranted out. I highly suggest you check to make sure it is attached to the chain ring inside the bow chain locker.

So how did you get them to cover it?

So called the parts department at Cobalt and asked the weight and amount of chain included at purchase. Then explained what happened. He said call Gordys and tell them you need a new under warranty. Did exactly that with story and she ordered it. It was the most simple process ever.
