The stitching on the R series seems to have a lot of spots that appear to be coming up. Is this typical?
It doesn't seem to be continuing to unravel but it appears on 4 different cushions. They replaced two over this past winter/summer and one of the replacements had the same issue. Is this something I should press/be concerned about? It just doesn't seem right to me.

My stitching is white and I haven't looked too closely but I think I'd have noticed that. It doesn't look that great with the contrasting stitching though so if all of the stitching is going to do that, maybe you should try and get Cobalt to swap the seats out with white stitching if that is an option. I won't be able to look again until next weekend but I'll let you know what I find.

That’s not right, I’d press the dealer to replace again.

Yea that's a bummer. When we did the tour they gave a stretch spec that they followed. Is Akro sitting in that spot all time time? I would tell him to get in his own boat!
Really get it fixed. It won't get better with time.

Re: Is this typical for stiching?
I’ve noticed a few spots doing that on mine. They are already replacing the flip back backrest because the stitching keeping it closely tucked came loose on one end. Said they just replace the entire backrest. Need to give them heads up on stitching. I will be very interested in what you find out!Norris_Boating wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 11:05 am The stitching on the R series seems to have a lot of spots that appear to be coming up. Is this typical?

I have similar stitching issues in the same spots. Interesting. I’ve been watching to make sure it doesn’t worsen.
