Note our dealer recommended against trim tabs in the Surf.

Sea Ray makes a great boat. That being said I think you will really enjoy the upgrade to a Cobalt. Your option list is terrific with the 380 horse being the sweet spot in terms of cost vs HP ratio. Maybe it's worth asking what you decided not to select in the option department. I personally would have added Captain's Call; wakeboard racks; wireless phone charger; and flag pole but that's just me....or you could always add those yourself after the fact and save a little cash if your looking for some projects. Others will chime in shortly.

Thank you and thanks for the suggestions. I actually did add the wireless charger and I am considering the rear facing camera. I am going back and forth on the wakeboard racks- I have a lakefront house/dock.

Is the Captain’s Call a dealer add-on?

Or wait for the merc bb and Bravo 4. It's not to far behind. Then add captains call. Yes it's factory installed. Then it won't sound like a tuner car on the water with the Volvo
I really think with the extra weight with the bb can only help the wave form!

Cobalt won't offer captains call on a surf model. Co2 levels of captains call and a surfer 10ft behind the stern do not mix.

We are almost certainly going with a classic navy and white theme to keep it classic.

Your build is very similar to mine! Note, I saw trim tabs as a $1624 option on the order sheet. But again, dealer did not recommend.

I went back and looked at the build sheet and it was there. Sales rep never mentioned it at all. I messaged him and he said they were not ordering the stock R6’s with the trim tabs.
