New CS23!

Post by JoelP »

Hey everyone,

We just picked up our new CS23 Saturday. Now we have to wait for next season! Switching from a Scarab jet to this beauty and we can't wait. Ant suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey JP. Welcome to the CobaltChat forum. So glad you found us!

Very cool set up my friend. Looks like some water sports will be in your future with that wake tower.

Any interior and/or engine pics? You are going to love this baby coming from a jet boat. So much quieter and smoother.

Again, welcome aboard mate!

Its got the Volvo penta 300hp engine, built in nav, upgraded floor mats. The only thing it doesn't have we wanted was the upgraded stereo. I dont know the brand of trailer actually, its already out away in a heated shed. Interior picture attached.

Congratulations, love the sport package and that you got the Garmin. On our's the left gauge will get hot and the digital gauge will go black. We put a towel over the dash when floating. This is a great size boat to get around with. Be careful when you have the bimini up.

Welcome. Love the colors and the combo. There are several threads on this site about stereo/speaker upgrades .... all good, useful info.

Is it worth upgrading? We used the stereo in our old boat a ton.

Same with us....and it's worth it! Other than adding Captain's call it's my favorite add-on.

First of all, great looking boat, welcome to Cobalt chat, and the Cobalt experience. I'm sure you're going to love it.
Question, why be careful when you have the bimini up? Just a point of information on what experience caused you to say this.
Thanks.

You're going to have a blast on that boat! Looks great.
If you trailer it, you might want to put guides on the trailer, otherwise it's hard for me to imagine you needing any upgrades!
Just stuff every boat needs- anchor and rode, dock lines and fenders...
Enjoy!
