Can you post a picture of what it looks like from the back?

I sew so I may sew one up for the R5 I am buying instead of using the full mooring cover all the time. It already has the front cover.
Here is a r5

Thank you.

I wonder if there is any concern for not covering the swim step and the SeaDek on there?

I may make a separate cover for it.

Is always best if you can. The mooring covers do that.
Is your boat sitting outside of in a shop? In a lift? In the sun?

It will be at my dock from May through October in the sun at Lake Tahoe. I will likely use the mooring cover unless its too hard to get on while in the slip. I will be picking up the boat in a few weeks so no idea how easy it is to put the mooring cover on a slip with access from only one side and the front.

I've only did mine and it was a bear. Tgrace98 does his no issues. I would think it will suck but won't know till you try. Yes you will want as much as you can covered.

I pretty much was sure when I saw the picture. I sew boat covers and i won't use the stuff because it is very hard to sew and almost impossible to avoid all the puckering you get with it. I only use Sunbrella. If you don't mind all the puckering, then it doesn't matter.

What is puckering? I didn’t want sunbrella for this. I wanted it to be water tight. Boat lives on a trailer and the factory mooring cover let lots of water in.

I have one for the winter made out of aqualon too. I’ll post a pic

Along all the seams you can see the puckering. The fabric on both sides of the seams should be perfectly smooth with no up and down undulations. It really only affects the looks of it. It doesn't make it less strong or functional. However, you probably wouldn't want it for a bimini top.

You actually don't want it water tight. You want it to breath. That's why when you use TopGun, you need to make sure there are MANY vents put into the cover. To me, I would want to have more vents than the 2 I see on the cover. If this is your first year with this cover, make sure you check for mold. Even Sunbrella can get mold without vents.
