Bimini Arch

Been meaning to ask what is likely something stupid I'm missing...

Have a 2020 R5 with Bimini/Arch. It has these large hand screws that lock the arch in place. If you remove these, the arch is still pretty locked in place, but with a lot of force, you can pull down on the front end and it will pivot. Is there a way to release the arch so it isnt so difficult to tilt forward or another way to lock in place forward? When the sun is just right, would be nice to tilt...

No he sold the boat. But I think he had all of the parts and I don't think it would be that terrible to do.
