First Time Boat Owner—2021 Cobalt

Post by Rgodfrey914 »

Hey all! I’m a first time boat owner, although I spent lots of time on the water as a kid. Did lots and lots of research on different boats and Cobalt kept rising to the top. We’ve had a bit of a cold snap here in TX, so she’s only been out once since we bought her last Tuesday, but this summer will definitely see us out on the water more. Thank you all in arrears for the advice—this forum helped a lot with my decision to go Cobalt!

Thanks Aslan! She’s got a Volvo 280 with duoprop out drive. I’m really amazed at how much power it has! Dealer had this boat and one other in stock and rumor has it the prices are about to go way up, so we jumped on it. So glad we finally pulled the trigger!

Nice!

The only time you want prices to rise is after you buy. I hope this market holds for a few years.

Lol! I stop with the white boat because my wife won’t drive a white truck. The F150 is her truck and I drive the yellow billboard F350! The picture with the F350 is my old trailer..
