Wet Carpet/Backing
Had the chance to use the R3 a couple times this month already. Never had snap in/out carpet before. My clean up process thus far has to been to detail the interior of the boat/tidy up and then pull the carpet up, hang it over the wakeboard tower and allow to dry, wipe down the floor under the carpet that is wet, and then snap it back in later once it is well dried. However, when we go to Lake Powell for a week at a time, I won't do this until we get back. Should I worry about the water under the carpet backing until I get home and dry everything out good? My old boat had glued in carpet and the carpets would "sour" after a week and stink until I washed them down and shampoo'd them.

Re: Wet Carpet/Backing
Our Cobalt was the first with snap in carpet too. I dont think we ever installed it, always boated with a bare floor because of the ease of clean up. I do think you run the same risk of getting some sour.
