Swim platform
My new extended platform from swimplatforms.com arrived today. We are so excited to install it on the 253 and get out on the water in a couple weeks.

Re: Swim platform
One of the hardest things I’ve had to do is drill holes in my cobalt transom. But, I’m so happy I did. Just a few details to finish up and it’s time to put it in the water.

Re: Swim platform
Nice job. You can turn the drive in both directions without it hitting? It looks close.

Re: Swim platform
There’s plenty of clearance. Volvos don’t turn very sharp. I may remove the tilt limiters, if I ever rebuild the cylinders, for more ground clearance. There’s more room up now without the filler panel in there.Big Block Power wrote: Thu May 20, 2021 6:10 am Nice job. You can turn the drive in both directions without it hitting? It looks close.

Re: Swim platform
It took about 6 weeks from completion of order to arrival at my end. It’s a small company building a top of the line custom product. If I do it again on another boat, I’d order it in the fall. Before boat show season. The best way to communicate with them is by phone. I think I talked to everyone there at least once. Super good folks.tsouthard91 wrote: Tue May 25, 2021 3:27 pm How long did it take to receive?
