Awesome day on Winnipesaukee today. Cloudy, but incredibly warm for May in New Hampshire.

Ran into a guy at Alton Bay town docks with a beautifully maintained 87 Cobalt. Not sure what model. Said his boat has lived it's entire life on Winnipesaukee. Mine has spent it's whole life here too. I hope to keep my 2005 24SX looking so good 18 years from now. Unless I can convince the boss we need an A28. ;)

A great weekend on the emerald coast. Some wind and pretty good chop in the bay early Saturday, but has calmed down nicely.

Enjoying afternoon on Norriego Point in Destin Harbor.

Congrats! Oh no you can't. It isn't over yet.

We were empty nesters for 2 weeks though. The middle kid moved out 2 weeks ago as he is getting married in a couple of weeks, but now she moved back in from school....

Hope she gets a job...

Haha...

We are actually getting off fairly inexpensively with the wedding. They both have good jobs and quite a bit saved up (since they have both been living at home). Also, with COVID, the guest list is not out of control.

Whatever it is, it will be less expensive than renting an apartment in SF. She (we) was paying over $1200.00 per month for a room. And that was actually a pretty good deal.

I waited but it's been an eventful month for us.
May 1st; University of Mississippi; 8th ranked accounting program in the country, 1st in the SEC; Summa Cum Laude.
She's starting grad school first week in June. Wedding in May of '22. She's going to work for Phil Mickelson (KPMG) afterward. No new boat for me.

I wanted a go fast boat ( 2-400hp):

And a go slow boat (short trip to Central Florida and Clearwater):

Clearwater 2021.JPG

And the earliest we've ever taken boat out: Captain Mel at the helm.

Hoping all have a great season!
