In my 240 anchor locker, it appears that the drain outlet is several inches above the bottom of the anchor locker. So there’s a pool of about 5 inches of water that isn’t going anywhere. I’m sure this is going to cause odors and such with the anchor line.
Can I drill a hole in the bottom of the locker for the water to drain into the bilge? Or would that cause problems that I’m not thinking of?

Re: Cobalt anchor locker not draining
I had the same issue on my '04 250. I drilled 1/2" holes through the bottom. Problem was resolved.

I thought about that but was worried about drilling through the hull
