Floor Ice Chest in Cobalt 222 = Squeaky Floor

Post by rstgermain »

I have a 2007 Cobalt 222. There is a large ice chest in the floor. In this area of the floor, even with the ice chest lid open, the floor squeaks. I think that the flange on the edge of the ice chest locker is rubbing on the floor and creating the squeak. Has anyone encountered this same problem, and if so, how did you fix it? Rocky St.

Any pics of your 222 and this squeaky ice chest? Hopefully other 222 owners on the forum will chime in shortly.

Again welcome aboard mate!

HI Rstgermain, make sure to put a sponge or shock absorption element under the ice chest, then you won't face the issue anymore.
