Merc 6.2MX? Good?

Trying to do some research on a boat with twin 6.2MX drives (Bravo 3). I have heard some folks talking about issues throwing rods. Any experience or tips would be helpful. I have mostly big block experience, or LS-based volvo.

I would not hesitate 1 bit. If I had a small block to choose from that would be it. Great engine.
