That sounds pretty nice. You can always add fender clips to where you want them. Just saying!

Thanks for sharing all the info. We have found the best setting for us to be 11.2 MPH and +3 on the trim and all ranks full. This with me, my wife and other son. Changing where people are setting definitely alters the wave. My sons, 17 and 11 have picked it up fast and can surf up and down the wave.

A couple of additional thoughts.
9. The trim up and down buttons on the throttle are much harder to push than my R5.
10. I have the helm seat electric slide option. One thing I have noticed is the metal mounting bracket under the seat extends all the way to the edge of the front of the seat. I like to drive standing up most of the time for greater visibility. Most of the time my calves are pressing on the front of the seat and I can feel the metal bracket. Not a very comfortable situation. This past weekend I had to put a towel on the seat and let it drape down over the front of the seat.

Similar issue on our R3. Sometime I have to press button several time to get trim to move.
Then sometimes it moves several degrees at once.

Just got my 2022 R6 Surf. Love it. Had the surfers up and running but was hard to teach the new ones that have never skied before.
Haven't made the perfect wave just yet. Still learning. Find that the boat handles the waves very well. We are in Ontario on Georgian Bay and can get choppy at times. If there are any posts on making the perfect wave would like to see them. We will try to post some video to give readers a sense of the boat and the surf it produces.

Love our new 2021 R6 Surf but I’m finding it is difficult to make a good wave when I have a lot of people in the boat. If I fill all the tanks when there are only three or four people on board the wave is great but when I have eight or nine I can’t get the wave to form. Any suggestions? I have been told to fill the port and starboard tanks only have full and the middle tank full but that doesn’t work too well. Would really appreciate any advice.

I have a “light boat” and heavy boat setting. For 5 or more I fill rear tanks 35% and front tank 100%. Usually set at 11 mph. And -5 on the trim. We like to try and lengthen the wave and not make it too steep. Make sure surf left or right is selected. When you toggle between setting that will deselect. My light not setting is between 60-100% full on rear tanks. If not enough ballast the wave loses push. Too much ballast and hard to mellow the wave out and can get pretty tall.
