Well, I had the chance to run the auto trim. It definitely works. 5%- 7% trim seemed like it's choice for running fast, and it would drop to zero when slowing down.
The other thing I learned tonight is that I will NEVER own another boat without trim tabs. The ride difference in the Lake Erie chop when dropping the tabs is night and day. My wife couldn't believe what a ride improvement they made.
