New boat new member in Alabama

Huntsville, Alabama new 2018 CS22 delivered today. This is our 7th boat, but 1st cobalt. We are coming from MasterCraft and Malibu wakeboard boats. We decided that we weren’t cool enough for those anymore. LOL

We boat on lake Guntersville and Tim’s Ford up in Tennessee.

We had a Mastercrft Prostar 197, MasterCraft X2, Malibu vlx (22 foot), Malibu LSV (23 foot), Axis T22 (22 foot), and our first boat was a 2008 chaparral 204 ssi.

Our only child is a son who is 15. He loves the water and does all types of water sports. I like to ski, kneeboard, and tube. My wife likes to ride and swim.

We figure that we can do all that behind this boat with added bonus of cruising, better trailering and dock maneuvering. We aren’t pros, we do what we want behind the cobalt. We just wanted something comfortable and plush with a good ride.

Currently I'm planning to tow up from the New Orleans area the 20th or 21st. I will be looking for a hotel or a resort with a marina or a recommendation for a marina where I can leave the boat in for the long weekend. I'm trying to get some of our other members to attend and we could make it a raft-up on race day.
