Tower speakers

Well I gave up a heated garage this year for a pair of Wet Sounds Rev 8 Tower speakers. I'm searching for a couple of amps to repower the whole system. Prob go with a pair of Wet Sounds ht6 and a ht4 or 2 ht6 amps. Not sure yet. Then get a Revo10 sub to finish it off. The good part is my wife won't talk to me all summer. I can't wait to get it installed on spring.

I have 2 ht6’s in my boat. Love them and they draw hardly any power from the batteries

Yep! I ran mine for about 6hrs one day on a single battery just to test and the battery from a full charge was still at 65%

So I've been told to run 2 of those apps. That's 300w rms bridged and my inboat speakers are 100w rms. How do you not blow the speakers?
Is it because you have the gain turned down and you don't run it at max volume obviously?

On my Webbcraft tower I installed a small volume module that allows me to adjust the tower volume separate from the in boat speakers. Without that the stereo in boat had to be so loud nobody could talk for the person riding behind the boat to hear them. Now the cabin speakers can be very low, and the tower speakers are blasting for the rider.

My head unit can have 2 separate amps plugged in. So I run one 6 channel at 4ohm so that’s 100watts a channel. Then I run my towers and sub off the other amp.

You only bridge the amp going to your tower speakers and sub. The second amp running your in boat speakers run 6 separate outputs, 6 channels at 100 watts.

Or you buy a JL M600/6 and a M500/3 and get the correct number of speaker outputs w/o messing /w bridging channels. M600 is 75x6 M500 is 300x1 @ 2 Ohm and 75x2.

Really is six of one half dozen of another. I looked at a M600 for the boat speakers then a four channel amp for the towers /w two channels bridged for the sub. The total cost was within like $20.

Correct. That's all in powering. Or a 3 channel for tower and sub. Or 4 channel for them. I will go all Wet Sounds though. But they don't make a 3 channel. I'll sell my 12 inch kicker sub in a box and my kicker 4 channel I'm using now.
