Thought I would start a thread for those who were on the factory tour allowing folks to identify themselves (if they desire) for others on the site and to refresh our own memories.

Feel free to post any group photos showing yourself & others to help with names.

Such a great group of forum members (& visitors). Loced talking with every one of you! What a bunch of boating and Cobalt enthusiasts.....scratch that....Cobalt & boating freaks!

This photo posted earlier captures most of us. Gdane had to leave due to a root canal issue (hope you’re feelin’ better brother). There were about 22-23 of us on the tour. Cobalt really rolled out the red carpet. A real class act. Thank you team Cobalt!

Btw, I’m (Jack III) in the bottom right on one knee next to group organizer Whitey (YTMSN) (his wife, Teri, sporting the matching blue sweatshirt behind him) and Eric (Liquid member #15) in the front row as we try to look photogenic in front of Chad (bigblockpower) sporting the Cobalt hat and blazing yellow “pot the jus ” CChat shirt.
My dad, Jack Jr, is in the back row 2nd from the right (playing where’s Waldo) next to forum founder John (Jmdahl) on the end....

Just wanted to thank a great bunch of Cobalt owners for letting an Old Donzi guy join them on their factory tour. Kinda like an educational seminar for me and I don't just mean from the great folks at Cobalt. I learned a bit from the group about meat cutting, new world investing, servicing a Ford, electric, running a forklift, patent attorneys , a Nauti Girl with a passion for 190s and a lot of other interests from the group [including a lemon Drop cocktail]. It amazed me that this group of 24 came from, all 4 sides of the Country....Maryland, California, Texas and Minnesota and a lot of states in between. Pretty impressive to pull that off just starting with a group from a boating forum who only knew each other from posts. . Of course it is a Cobalt group so quality of the individuals should not be of any surprise. I unfortunately will still have to retain my Scout 172 BUT now will be in the Captains chair wearing a Cobalt hat thanks to Aslan 7...…. who also was good enough to arrange my transportation to Kansas City and that Cobalt headquarter town I will never learn to pronounce. I also hope he appreciates the fact I passed the dementia test by surviving the Southwest non rev maze run to Kansas and back from the ocean. Thanks again to all and remember...only 95 days to Spring and splash down!

Our adventure was pretty close to the movie “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. What a memorable trip from Baltimore to the Char-Bar..

Sure!....and if it helps others in regard to Jeff & Katie, Katie (1/2 of team Nautigirl) is standing next to Matt (Cmattj) who is in the center of the picture with the black hat on smiling because of his lemon drop drink creations from the night before. Of course Jeff (the other half of team Nautigirl) is to Katie's right (left side of picture) showing the top half of his face.

It was great meeting you as well Jeff! .....and you're right, there was a population of Jeff's there. I also met a Jeff Dittmer (Jsdittmer) who is in the back row (between Katie & Matt). He came after that devastating Chief's loss to the Chargers on Thursday --but still in great spirits.

Got to speak with both of you, but wish we could have had more time to shoot the breeze--especially since we are all 260 series owners!. Those days went by way too fast!

I was the one of the "incognito" attendees..... My father-in-law, Phil joined me on the drive from OPKS. Unfortunately, I couldn't make any of the evening social events due to our son's sports schedule, but I really wanted to join the tour. Oddly enough, I grew up just 15 miles south of Neodesha and always been around Cobalts, but never been to the plant. It was a treat to meet those of you that I did and look forward to meeting others sometime again. Maybe at LOTO next season......

Big thanks to AsLan7 for bringing up the accolades to the 262/263 and especially the 343 series as the sexiest boats ever made! Totally agree!

Little background on the username.... years ago I had a 1979 Cigarette 33 Limited Edition before Cobalts and still have a 1974 Cig 20 that we love to use to tear up the main channel at LOTO.
