Looking over options for a coupler lock, it seems like a wheel chock lock might be a more secure option albeit more of a pain to store.
The Reese locks seem like a good deterrent but I can't imagine they are too difficult to get around if someone wanted the trailer.
Thoughts?
Anyone use a wheel chock lock for their trailer?

If they want it bad enough there isn’t much that will stop them. It’s just that, a deterrent, so either will make it easier to steal the trailer a few down from yours that doesn’t have one.

That's fair.
I was more thinking of someone take off with my trailer and I'm 5 hours away from home. Yes I will get a new one but it would be a royal pain.
Anyways, you guys are right. If they want it they will get it..

We use a wheel chock lock in the off season. When we are down every weekend we just put a lock on the trailer coupler.
As others have said you are just making your boat harder to steal than the next guys. If someone wants it bad enough a dremel and about 2 minutes and its theirs.
