Hello everyone! I'm a newbie from Northern Illinois who owns a 2019 Cobalt 220S powered by a 240 HP Volvo 4.3 single prop.

I am looking forward to learning from everyone. My family and I love our boat and I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself.

So here are the requested photos, I apologize for not doing it from the beginning! While we have rented boats in the past, this our first time owning.

We bought it back in February as a stock boat. I really wanted to order one but our dealer estimated that we wouldn't take delivery until July and we didn't want to wait. We may revisit ordering a new Cobalt in a few years, I hear 2 foot itis is a thing!

We didn't get on the water until the end of May due to a crappy spring. It's been a strong runner and is super smooth. We had one minor performance issue but the service department fixed it quickly.

We primarily boat on the Chain O Lakes which is a river fed system here in Northern Illinois.

We keep on our boat on Pistakee but we are all over the place. We do a lot of tubing on Fox and hit the sandbars on Petite or Catherine.

Nice, we love Cabanas and we're down there a lot, we also cove up on Dunns a lot. Our channel is right next to the Catherine sandbar, keep an eye out and say hi!
