Gift from Cobalt
We recieved a survey form from Cobalt not long after purchasing our new 2019 R3. Several questions had to do with our dealer, Futrell Marine in Heber Springs, AR. I didn't fill out form because I wanted to wait until we had the delivery captain go over several questions we had. We took the boat on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend and spent a lot of weekends on lake before scheduling the delivery captain. He did a great job answering any questions, showed us a few things we didn't know, and we were highly satisfied. So I found the survey under a stack of stuff on my desk, filled it out and mailed it in.
We received a FedEx package last week, which also had my wife's name on it. I assumed it was something she ordered for Christmas and I didn't open it. When she came home for girl trip to Turks and Caicos and finally opened it, turned out it was a nice letter from Cobalt, Shane Stanfill, and a gift.
"Welcome to our Cobalt Family! We are grateful and excited you have chosen to complement your lifestyle with your new Cobalt.......(fast foward)...Please accept the enclosed Cobalt "Fat Towel" as a small token of our appreciation."
This will be one of my favorite towels ever. While on our honey moon in 1995, my wife bout some really nice beach towels with nautical theme, and they were so nice, we're still using them twenty five summers later.
The Cobalt "Fat Towel" is nicer. I'm actually going to write a thank you letter, which as a guy, you know how rare that is.

Re: Gift from Cobalt
I don’t think I’ve used mine as an actual towel yet. It is on the boat though, I have Bimini clips I clip to the top and use it as a Cobalt logo sun shade!

Re: Gift from Cobalt
Use them, they are white so they won’t bleed into your upholstery. I bought a couple as well for my guests. I tell them to leave their purple or blue towel at home.

Re: Gift from Cobalt
Your story sounds so sweet with those unexpected gifts. I just stumbled across your post, but I couldn't stop myself from commenting on it.
Re: Gift from Cobalt
If you don't use a Cobalt towel, please use something - we bought a set of oversized towels for our R5. Sunscreen is the death of white vinyl! No one sits on our seats without a towel if they have sunscreen on.
