I went to the web site from the link on this thread, couldn't find the service manual for the 496 MAG HO. The service manual Mercruiser part number is 90-863161T01. The site did have the users manual, not a service manual. I'm sharing chapter 6 that I do have from the service manual. Can anyone who has the full service manual please share it?

Ahh Sorry S33. Misunderstood your question. This thread is for the owner’s manual only. Have never seen a link for a free copy of the Merc 496HO Service Manual.

Thank you for posting the 496HO Cooling section portion of the maintenance manual though!
