2008 232 Cabin Drain Hole
2008 232 Cabin Drain Hole
I was looking over the boat and notices that the cabin drain hole (silver hole right before the walkthrough) in the back of the cabin. Then I looked in the engine compartment at it and saw the silver elbow coming from it. The way it is right now, that just drains down into the hull of the boat but was looking at it and looks like it was designed to have a plastic drain hose attached to it. Does anyone know how it came from the factory? I don't know why someone would remove it if there was one there unless it just gets standing water in it and molds up over time. Wouldn't take much money or time to get a plastic tube and to put it on there to help it drain to a more specific location in the hull. If I am not making any sense then I can get pics to help out. Thanks in advance.

A pic would help, but usually it would drain into the bilge.
