2010 262

Post by Benvarine »

New Cobalt owner, so just joined the team and good friend sent me an invite to the forum. I’ve been warned to include pics, which sadly I have only one. Picked it up last weekend, dumped it in the lake and had a great first weekend. Then had to leave her for a few weeks on vacation, yes, without her. She’s as upset as the dog I’m sure. More to come. She’s a 2010, has the 8.1L Volvo, white and brown interior. Can’t wait to get back on the water.

Hey Benvarine. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

For some reason that Cobalt sure looks ginourmous for a 226. Almost like they copied the 262 hull in 2010. ;)

Great classic colors. Thanks for opening with a pic too!

Who is the mystery CChat friend?

Again welcome aboard mate!

Welcome. I was like they quit making a 226 way before that.

They grow in warm water, shrink in cold. lake is 88* now so mine will be a 262 for the day as well!

Atta boy Ben! Glad you found the site. Also happy to see you posted the pic, you're off to a flying start, just need you to figure out what kind of boat you bought, LOL!

AsLan7, I will admit to being the "mysteryCChat friend". Ben asked my thoughts on his boat when he found it, I had a really hard time coming up with a negative, seeing that mine is even in the same color family. There's not a color that boat doesn't look good in though. What can I say, this guy's got good taste!

Welcome to our forum.
Tell us more about you too. I grew up in central Missouri. My mom once worked for Mark Twain National Forest Service. When I was in high school, we played Stoutland some in basketball. I didn't know there was a Mark Twain Lake until just now. We were more Table Rock growing up.

Love you boat. I'm sure there will be many happy memories.
