Accurate Weight - 2005 262

Hey everyone, I'm finalizing a purchase on a 2005 262 and needing to upgrade my lift. I know the "dry weight" is listed as 4700 per Cobalt's site, but I'd love to get some real world input. What capacity lift are you using?

We don’t use a lift but she pushes close to 6,000 pounds (without trailer) based upon weighing ours when we owned it.

Great, Thanks AsLan! That was what I was figuring as well. Didn't want to pull the trigger on a 5K LB lift and have the cable constantly break.

Size your lift for your second boat. You never know when the itch to upsize will come.

For floating lifts like we have at LOTO, they take full wet weight and add 15%.

Thanks Holy Smokes for the advice! This is my second boat actually. Going from a 21ft Cobalt. When I bought my first lift I used your math, but I just ended up finding a 26ft boat instead of 24ft. My old lift was a 4600LB and old boat was 3100LB.
