Battery Chargers for Dummies: 110 or 220?

I'm going to be ordering a new cs23 this fall. There are two battery charger options (110 & 220) - which one would be the better choice?

Good choice to get a battery charger; and you're ordering dual batteries too? 110V is all you need. Also, if you don't order the charger, it's an easy aftermarket install.

Yes, dual batteries. Since you asked -what does "ACR" mean? The option for the dual battery switch says:
"Battery Switch, Dual with ACR (required)."

Depends on what you have available where you store the boat. Battery chargers are always going to output somewhere around 12-14v DC to charge and maintain the batteries, but AC input voltage could vary depending on where you plug in. 110 will give you the most flexibility IMO, but if you have 220 available that could work too.

110 seems to be the answer. 90+% of its use will be during winter storage.

I have the 110v charger for my R7. I leave it on the lift all winter with the charger/tender plugged in. Keeps the batteries charged and warm all winter. Haven't had an issue yet.

Perfect! My only question is if I should remove them during our cold MN winters (I'd prefer not to)? Although the boat will be in a garage with the mooring cover on, it's not heated or insulated - just provides protection from the wind, snow etc.
