Oil change

Post by Jr1 »

I’m new to boats but have done some Chevy 350 tune ups. Just got a 79 bow rider 250 merc. As I’m looking into a standard oil change at about 100 hours would be oil, oil filter, fuel separator filter and a fuel filter? Is this correct? Is there a fuel separating filter and a regular fuel Filter?

Add drive lube change. Drive should be pulled. Check and lube u joints and carrier bearing should be checked and lubed. Drive alignment checked, Bellows checked and maybe replaced. How are the shifter cables and throttle cables. Prop removed lube prop shaft. Anyways welcome. That old of a boat do you know what has been done to it?
Points, cap, rotor, wires, plugs. Clean the spark arrestor.
