Trim tabs don’t work on my 07 250

Post by ourlee »

Is this a job I can tackle myself early spring before I dip her? What’s the most likely cause? I’d hate downtime at the start of the season.
Thx Rick

It's definitely the Flux capacitor on the left tab.

Start with the easy stuff... tripped breaker. Fluid in the reservoir.

.
Electric or Hydraulic tabs?
Are you hearing any noise when you move the switch?
Do they both not move or just one?
Yes check breakers and loose wires.
Pretty simple system really...we just need more info to diagnose.

Hey Ourlee, did you ever determine the cause? Get them fixed? Are they Bennett tabs?
