R6 Surf Tower Question

I'm hoping to finalize my order soon for R6 Surf. I learned today that if you want the lighting on the Prisma tower that requires the Bee Hive Interior Accent package. I didn't realize that because Cobalt doesn't show the tower on their design page without the lighting option in their images.

So now in reviewing their towers more closely, what is the difference between Prisma Tower Bimini and Prisma Tower Sunshade? $2,287 difference in price and I would love to know what I would be getting for it. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Well that better justifies the cost of that beehive package, but you'd think as much as the electric tower cost they'd throw in the lights for free or something.

Yeah I was caught off guard because when you build the boat on the 'Design your Dream' it clearly shows the tower that includes the lighting. That doesn't change when you toggle between Beehive. However today I saw a R6 Prisma tower without lighting in person. $1680 Bee hive is lighted tower, stitching detail to interior, and if you go with Soft-Trac flooring you get the Bee Hive stamping throughout.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one that has questions about the finer details of a $200k purchase! lol! I've been trying to find *any* information about the roswell platinum sound system but the only thing I've really been able to uncover is some very technical sound frequency charts on their site. Basic things like, some documents say two 12" subs...some say one 12" and one 10". And some things talk about a different dash mounted head unit for platinum.

Ya'll should fully expect a full YouTube video review of it compared to the JL Premium in my buddy's R5 Surf as soon as I can get them tied up together! lol!

Also, sorry to derail...just anxiously awaiting my boat to arrive early next month!

yeah I'm with you. Big purchase and it's a bit surprising the boating world in general doesn't have the information dialed in like most of the auto industry does. I guess it makes you rely on your dealer more but they don't know everything either.
