Excellent list, BBp, and everything you mentioned (except the hammer) was in my old tool kit. Various size stainless hose clamps have come in handy as well.

I was going to search for a small jump box this black Friday. We have run into a couple boats this year that got to the ramp only to find they had a dead battery or in one case dead batteries.

Getting this thread back on track, I was able to build a nice little tool kit over the last few months while working on our boat. It’s compact, cost effective.and complete enough to cover the gamut of our boating maintenence. Will take an overview picture of the tool bag contents In the spring.
