Loose Bimini frame

This boat is new to me - and the tower is complicated. Currently the frame of the binimi (forward one) comes up out of the gunwale at higher speeds (more drag) and it seems to be held on by a screw. The Bimini has an electric motor to lift and lower it. I tried to open up the side of the boat to inspect and troubleshoot, but can’t really see anything. Is there a way to tighten/anchor these poles? Any thoughts are most appreciated. Thanks.
