2012 276 w/8.1 Gi Riser options for captains call?

Post by Jducati »

The stock catalyzed risers on the 8.1 Gi require adaptor elbows to install the Corsa system on the 276, are there any options as far as different risers I can use to avoid needing these $2300 x2 adaptors? The rep I spoke with said after overlaying cad drawings of the 8.1 catalyzed and non catalyzed risers, the non cat versions would bolt onto the motor and wouldn't need adaptor, but then I would be looking at the added issue of not having O2 sensors to properly operate the fuel injection... Is there a way to "tune" the post cat O2's out to allow the non cat risers?

Id really like a captains call, but im not willing to triple the cost because of some "required" adaptors.. The risers could use replacing anyway, so that cost is being contributed to good maintenance.. Don't think full headers are appropriate, so id rather not go that route.

Hey jd. So glad you found us.

Can't help with your question as we added CC to non Cat risers. Maybe someone else here has done the conversion. Blame the environmentalists and Bu. ;)

Any pics?

Welcome aboard mate.

If it was a car you could just have a local tuner shut off those sensors per say, but with finding someone with VP ecu knowledge could be troublesome
