I am asking all the experts here for help. I had a 2018 R8S that I have sold and I just received my 2022 R8S. I have a hydro hoist lift that is set up for the R7S that when in the down position had a 37" draft and when in the up posistion it was 34". The R8S states it has a down draft of 36" and a up draft 29"
I back into my slip at the lake and the lift was set up for this. I also always trimmed up slightly before backing in and never had an issue. My thinking is that since the draft on the R8S is between 1' to 5" less than the R7S I should not have to make adjustments to the lift and everything should be good.
What do you guys think? I have had a hard time trying to schedule Hydro Hoist to come out and look at it and I am needing to get the boat on the lift to get custom measured for a custom cover so it is ready for lake season. I am over 2 hours from our slip and keep the boat in my toy box during the winter so I haven't been able to check it yet.

Re: R7 draft vs r8 draft on lift
I can’t really help you but I’d probably have someone look at it for the lift company, how much is it for them to come out??? A set of new props is 2 grand.
