Premium Sound with Apollo RA670 Head Unit

Looking to see how the stereo is wired with the other components on the boat. I was hoping to setup the RA670 so that I can connect to it via WiFi through the Garmin WiFi hotspot. To be able to achieve that, you have to hook the RA670 via ethernet to the Garmin MFD. It looks like the ethernet port on my RA670 is connected but running to my transom control. So for me to achieve this, I would need a router or network switch installed. I'm wondering/hoping that Cobalt has already done this and it's just a matter of finding it. How can I find out? I'm guessing all roads will lead to me having to call Cobalt up.

Why not connect the Fusion HU to the Garmin via the NMEA2K bus. If your HU is located where it is on the R5 all it takes is about a 5m NMEA2K drop cable and a T connector to the backbone located behind the helm. With the amps mounted on the panel it might be a little difficult to get to but running the cable was fairly easy.

It's already connected that way, but to be able to use the WiFi capabilities it also needs the ethernet connection. The NMEA2K allows me to control the Fusion head unit from the MDF, but not share it's "network".
