Trim Dead - Bummer start to the summer

Post by greengiant44 »

First official outing of the year today for my 2016 220s. (I did get it out two weeks ago for a few hours).

But today was the first one the kids had friends, and we were loaded up.

Dropped the boat, went to adjust my trim - nothing. DEAD. Dead at the throttle, and dead back at my Transom switch. Worked great two weeks ago. Super bummed. Fortunately the motor was up, so short of having a little less control getting it back out of the water wasn't an issue as far as tearing up the prop etc.

That said, any ideas? I pulled the switch at the transom to check the connection, but it was good. Just dead. No clicking or any indication it was getting any signal even.

Thanks. Huge bummer today!

Do you have dual batteries? Are both batteries installed and connected?
