Hi
When I start the 2007 5.0 GXi Volvo Penta engine it vibrates and makes the steering actuator oscillate.
However, if the engine is restarted immediately afterwards, it starts normally without any vibration.
If I start the engine after 5 or 10 minutes it starts normally.
If I start the engine after 1 hour the problem cames again.
Sorry but I don't know how to put a video of the engine running.

Re: 5.0 GXi Volvo Penta engine vibrates
Sounds like this could be any number of things, from motor mounts (there's a rubber cushion that can get brittle and wear over time), something driven by the serpentine belt (e.g. bad belt alignment, something coming loose, or something that is worn), or even a crank bearing or worn piston rings (probably less likely). How many hours are on the engine? You may be able to feel around a bit yourself while it is vibrating and help narrow it down.

Hi.
The engine has 450 hours.
The strange thing is if I restart the engine, right after, it starts without any vibration.
If I restart the engine after an hour or more the vibration appears again, only during the starting phase.
