Bilge/head wiring spliced together
Bilge/head wiring spliced together
New to cobalt
2016 R5. Is it normal for the bilge pump and the Head unit wiring to be spliced together? Ours is and Singleton Marine says it is from the factory. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bildge Head together
I don’t have the R5 wiring diagrams, but the helm bilge pump switch is the only source of “Always Hot” power at the helm on our boat. It would be a good place to grab the “Always On” power for the head unit. I would be surprised if ALL the head unit power comes from that helm bilge pump connection.
Our head unit doesn’t have this connection so it turns off whenever the ignition is off.
