8.1 vp cool diagram

first time on water starboard engine over heated , impeller is fine but small hose off pump was hard and just want to see if someone has a diagram so i can diagnose

Was this a one time incident? You may have sucked a bag or sea grass onto the outdrive intake. That happened every once in awhile with our 8.1 VP. I'd jump in the water and unclog it. Of course the best option is to pull the boat; run it on muffs and see how the outflow looks. With twins I'm guessing this may be a little more difficult for you.
