2020 R5 surf with Roswell sound issue.

Question for all u audio experts. Recently purchased a 2020 cobalt R5 surf with the platinum sound(Roswell speakers and amps). yesterday i noticed my cockpit port side speaker was all static. First I swapped speakers but issue didn't follow. Then swapped speaker channels and bingo, issue followed. There are 2 stacked Roswell R1 900.6 series amps. Is it wise to purchase a new Roswell R1 or go with a different brand? I'm sure there's a lot better options out there but not sure if having two different amps is a wise idea. The other thing is having two different brands changes the ease of replacing/mounting. I'm not at all experienced in audio equipment so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
