Horn stopped working

Post by BBBri »

Hi - I have a 2020 23SC and my horn suddenly stopped working. Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks,

Brian

Check fuse and then buy a meter and start probing things.

Thanks Bruce B 58. Your answer triggers another question: Any idea where the fuse box is in the 2020 SC 23? The owners manual says it's in the starboard front storage area - which would make sense as that is the area that backs up to the dashboard on the other side. But there's no fuse box there...(!?) On the port side of the boat in the same area where the dual battery switch is, there look to be maybe 5 fuses - but the labels there don't indicate they have anything to do with switches on the dash. Back to where the owners manual claims that it should be, I could attempt to take the entire panel off by removing, what, 8 to 10 phillips screws and then looking behind there - but I"m thinking surely Cobalt would put the fuse box in a very accessible area and not require significant disassembly in order to reach this unit. I'm stumped...!

I’m not sure about your 2020, but my 2007 uses circuit breakers. Cobalt uses the term “fuses” in my owners manual even though circuit breakers are installed.
