New to Me 2002 Cobalt 190

Hey everyone. Just acquired my first boat - it’s a 2002 Cobalt 190. It has the Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi with approximately 225 hours on it. The boat is cosmetically rough - not terrible or damaged in any significant way, but needs to be thoroughly cleaned and refinished. The upholstery is in decent shape other than the front bench seats which have a couple of small rips. I’m assuming there’s no way to buy OEM replacement cushions? The speedometer doesn’t seem to function, and the trim indicator only seems to work when the helm is centered or right of center. Anyway I will hopefully post some pictures soon, but looking for any advice on where to find parts and what to look out for. Thanks guys.

So glad you found us GW….and great machine you got there.

Change fluids and filters. That’s pretty low hours for a 2002. How’s the trailer?

The pitot tube for the speedometer is most likely clogged. On the VP’s it hangs below the transom. How does it look?
Is it bumped out of position from hitting something?

An intermittent trim indicator is usually a loose wire or adjustment on the outdrive ram where it reads.

OEM cushions are unavailable after 7 years.
