Looking for a used Volvo outdrive for a 1991 Cobalt 252 Condurre with the Volvo Penta 7.4L big block engine. The Volvo part # is 854298 and the product name is SD2-A-AQ-17. will pay $$$ if someone has one to spare...

Looks like that might be a DP-A? Best bet is likely to call someone who rebuilds and stocks a bunch of these - lots of companies out there. I've never had to buy one, but a quick search turned up

Hopefully others who have been through an outdrive replacement will chime in too.

Our local marina always had spare outdrives (both VP & Merc) lying around for sale. It may be worth visiting your local shop. They may have a reman on hand.
