Hi ladies and gents.
A buddy and I (he is also on this forum) are taking our annual friends vacation in a week or so. We usually go to Grand Lake O-the Cherokees in OK, but this year we decided to go to a different lake, and are visiting Table Rock this year instead. We're very excited to explore this new lake, but we also know there is no way possible we will get to see the entire lake, even if we were there for two weeks. We have 3-4 days on the lake, and we're staying very close to the The Harbor / Indian Point Marina. So, those of you who live in the area or travel there frequently, what parts of the lake should we make it a point to see?
Just for some background, we have a 242, and my buddy have a 232. We have very comfortable on larger lakes, and aren't afraid to stretch our legs, and feed some speed into our rides. We frequently would go on half hour or even hour long rides to get to a unique or cool spot to see on other lakes we've visited. So, that tells you we would be willing to go a good distance to see something that would be worthwhile.
Where should we go?
Also, we usually like to do some night cruising or boat rides? Is it relatively safe to do this on this part of the lake? Or will be be dodging several fishing boats etc. during the middle of the week on this part of the lake?
Preliminary "thank you" for your response.
