Cobalt Upgrade to 222

Hey folks. Wanted to show off my new ride. I sold my
classic 94 220 Bow Rider and bought a 2008 220 Bow Rider. I went from a dp Volvo penta to a dp Mercury out drive. I’m loving the layout of the 222. It’s roomier and I’m enjoying the rear walk through vs climbing over the engine hatch. I had no ...

Trim Gauge Calibration

Hey guys, I recently had my top bellow (drive) replaced and when I got my boat back on the water, I noticed that my trim gauge will only display ~3/4 trim down, although I know the trim is fully 100% down. I have a 1994 220 Volvo Penta DPC-1 outdrive. Any ideas on how to calibrate my guage? Would ...

COBALT Letters/Emblems

Does anyone have a good source on where I can order some chrome letters for my ‘94 Cobalt 220? I’m needing a T and an O. I’ve looked everywhere. Thanks guys.

Winterizing

I’m getting ready to winterize my 220.
Is it better to have a full tank of gas or store it with a low tank? I realize I need to add stabil. Thanks for your input.

Re: New Member

Welcome Jim and Corina. I also live in the DFW area and am also a new member to this site. Good luck with your boat. I purchased my first Cobalt back in June. Your gonna enjoy that boat once you get her lake ready. What lake will you be running her on?
