Re: Fabricated Flag Pole
I bought the Tig Tech flag pole kit and was impressed with the initial quality. Installed it last year and found the pin that holds it in place came out. Had to JB Weld it back in place. Other than that, it is pretty solid and looks great!

Re: Accidentally Turned Off Engine
Talked with my marine mechanic and he thought that I may have welded the clutch or possible screwed up the gears. Gonna let her sit winterized until early spring.

Re: Accidentally Turned Off Engine
I can get the shifter into neutral to allow the engine to start and spin the props forward, but can't get it into reverse. Hopefully this won't cost an arm and leg.
Thanks for the input.

Accidentally Turned Off Engine
As the title says, I was underway and accidentally hit the starboard engine key with my knee. I immdiately turned it back on and ran for a few more miles. Now the shifter in the starboard engine wont come out of gear. I have Bravo 3 drives. How much did I screw up? Thanks in advance for the help.

Totally Worth the Wait!
The wife and I were finally able to enjoy our, new to us, 2008 302 last week and all I can say is wow! The difference between our 24' Rinker and the new Cobalt is night and day. The smooth ride, performance with twin engines and the fit and finish is absolutely amazing. Now we're counting the days ...

Re: New Owner with Dumb Question
Thanks for the replies. We bought the boat three weeks ago and had to leave it at the dealer until our new slip and lift are installed. The wait is killing me! Two more weeks and I'll be able to enjoy her!

New Owner with Dumb Question
The wife and I just bought a new to us 2008 302 with twin Mercs and we haven't been able to play with it yet while we wait for the new lift. Are both keys the same with a twin engine boat?
Thanks in advance.

New Owner with Questions
The wife and I finally achieved our dream and just bought a, new to us, 2008 Cobalt 302. What series is this boat? (S, R, etc.) Also, is it possible to re-dye the bow and cockpit covers? They are red and show slight fading.
Thanks for the input.
