Update: As akorcovelos indicated, yes, it's a big assed threaded rod. I thought that I was looking for a 1/4" aluminum angled plate mount similar to what the 2000's boats have but, no. Thank you!!! I'm heading to the lift tonight and will snap a few. So far, I've come up short for the transom. There is literally nothing obvious but maybe it will become clear once I poke around. I'd be shocked if it wasn't a threaded rod type setup.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I'm having the same problem for a 1990 202 Condurre. The 1" hole is there just nothing obvious about how the ski eye fixes below deck. Did you come up with a solution or anything obvious? Was it the threaded rod option in the last photo?

Thanks for the welcome and suggestion. Yes, I've tried GreatLakes. The weird thing is that it looks like they used this mounting system in all of their models from the late 80's all the way up to 2000.
