That is helpful, since the Captains Call was installed aftermarket I bet it is tied into the same power block as the gauges since it goes off when the gauges do.

I have a 2014 R7 and my tach and speedometer is losing power and not reading anything, also my Captains Call shuts off. Everything else is okay lights, stereo, blower etc. Any ideas? Sounds like possible a ground but.....

My forward bracket is loose on my r7. the screws just turn freely, feels like there should be a nut on the end. Any knowledge of this? It seems I would have to get behind the driver side panel. How do I get these panels off?

My R7 needs to have the nuts tightened on the bottom Port side Windshield. But They would appear to be under all the padding and walls etc in the head. Any wisdom on accessing those?

My 2014 R7 has the upgraded stereo and sounds great but I can't find the head unit. I have the 2 amps in the front storage and the dash unit ( Rockford Fosgate) looks like a remote and not the whole head unit. Seems to me there is a unit somewhere.

My problem is when I hit waves the system ...

Thanks for the info. Garmin told me that Lake Norris was not in the SD card on that unit GPSMAP740. And it is not compatible with new sd cards. Soooo....basically I have a worthless screen in the middle on my dash. A new unit is a $1000 or more.

And BTW now that we have it on the water finally.........It DOES RIDE NICE!

Just bought a 2014 r7 the GPSMAP 740 is installed. We brought it to Norris Lake TN. The map doesn't come up and I can find anyplace to get it on the menus. The SD card is Garmin Lakes OEM US Coverage 010 -C1084-00

Would Norris be on there or do I need a new one and GARMIN said they don't have them ...

So first time on the water. With a used r7 2014 with volvo and twice when I hit a good sharp wake it just shut off. Restarted easily. I didn't hit the key and it was still on. Nor the emergency shut off.

It has the Volvo 380 and 181 hours. Captains call. Premium sound, and underwater lights. Gonna be sweet!

So.... I joined the forum a couple months ago, and was looking for a boat. I have been a proud Crownline owner for 19 years and we have wanted a Cobalt for several years now. So we just bought a 2014 R7 with 180 hours in it. Clean and we are excited to get in on our lake and lift.

So after having a beautifull Crownline for 19 years we just bought a 2014 R7! Not cheap but we are pleased to be Cobalters. It is a clean nice boat.

That is most of my list too. I do have the service history and they guy seems very meticulous.
