Re: Round Sony remote replacement
That turned out awesome. Did you change out the head unit as well or just the remote?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Round Sony remote replacement
Wow, I really like how those turned out. I had a similar idea, but wanted to flush mount the helm controller. I ended up fabricating a new panel - I tend to do things the hard way. My 232 did not have a stern/swim platform control so I added a wireless fusion control unit. Paired with Fusion head unit in the glove box.

Re: Round Sony remote replacement
Both of those installs look great! This is on my list for next spring for sure. My '14 242 still has the factory Sony unit and helm remote, with no Bluetooth (even after purchasing the JL Bluetooth device from Cruthfield) so I'm stuck using the Aux-In port, which doesn't sound the best.
This post will give me some great ideas.
How is the sound quality on the Fusion devices? I never knew they were considered a good brand...

I think the sound quality is great - although I'm not a true audiophile. I have paired with a JL audio amp. Have not replaced stock speakers yet but they're on the list.NautiWeasel wrote: Thu Jul 21, 2022 4:12 pm Both of those installs look great! This is on my list for next spring for sure.
