Trailer slightly nose down...run it or level it?

You talking about the ball mounts or jacks? All of the ones that I have seen at various stores close by me are only rated for 5000 lbs.

I don't know if you will have the clearance for that one. The shaft with the pin in it seems awful short.

The specs look like they check out. When the pin is pulled that leg should extend down quite a bit, then once it's extended all the way I can start cranking to raise it more.

You could go back to 14 inch tires and down to 6 inch.

Oh gotcha. Yeah I'd have to look at specs. Need to see if I can find MFG web site. Also need a 1-1/4" shank hole to reuse current ball. That has 1". Could maybe use but would have to get a new ball too.

If I have to do one like that I will (thanks for the link btw), would prefer to do a fixed mount to have less moving parts but that's definitely an option.

Maybe i'm showing my ignorance or something else but from your pics.I don't see anything wrong with what you have now. It's not too high or low. But then a little too high or low never seemed to bother my tow rig.

Thunder I think you're getting your panties in a wad for no reason. Just pull the darn thing to the lake and be happy with it! If you was going across country that might be one thing but....
Tell you what, try putting a round peg in a square hole. That should keep you busy for a while!

I'll probably go ahead and replace the trailer jack soon since that will solve a different issue for me as well, being able to drain the bilge with the boat on the trailer. Then run what I got for awhile and see if it bothers me. At this point I don't think nose down is negative in any way, but we'll see if I get tired of looking at it

You don't need a Jack to drain your boat.pull the plug at the launch. I've seen those steel bad boys.lol
