I just got back from an afternoon of being on the lake here. The wife took a bunch of pictures. I will get some up tomorrow once I get a chance to see them and get them to my phone.
The ramp I go to had two other trucks with trailers. I think I saw 2 pontoon boats and 3 fishing boats. Not very busy here.
If the weather holds out, I hope to hit the water tomorrow too, after I stop by the gas station.
The golf cart drive ins are a blast - you'll love it!
We've been doing a golf cart drive in in our community for a few years now. Every year we do at least one family movie. This year, we tried to setup for JAWS at our community beach with extra credit if you watched from a tube or kayak in the water but we got rained out and never had an opportunity for making it up. Plan to do it next year, though.
I picked up a 12' screen kit from Carl's (https://www.carlofet.com/) and then built the frame out of electrical conduit. We've been doing this about 4 years now and I now have a complete rolling cart with all of the electronics hard mounted. Setup the screen, roll the cart and then setup the speakers/stands and the projector.
Have a great time!

Looks sweet sitting in that nice clean water. Looks like it's but it's had more green tint to it. Are you on Norris lake? Did the dealer not have a cotter pin? Something so simple. I'm sure it worked on there test run so it must be all good. I'm sure the assembly person has a box of them for a reason.
I love the colors.

Slide, our golf cart drive in was a bust last night. The projector spitthebit so it didn't happen. And I should have known you would overthink something like this and actually have a practical setup!
Our deal was a sheet over a rope and a laptop plugged into a projector with auxiliary speakers plugged in too. I'll look into the screen option and we'll try it again, maybe during the fall season.

Man I wish I could post videos. Here are a couple of pictures from our outing yesterday. This was the second time my daughter has been out on the boat and she loves it. In fact wanted to stay out longer, if only fuel was unlimited...

Haha, we use "bit the bullet". Funny how all these euphemisms refer to horses not cooperating or what happens to them when they don't!
I'll try to find some photos of my latest movie night setup - maybe it will give you some ideas.
That would be awesome! Thanks Slide.

A quite and peaceful part of the lake, away from the churn of the main body, where the traffic is at an all time high. It looks like the fine folks at Paul's Pontoon Paddock, Purveyors of Portable Party Platforms have been working the rental desk. There is an R3 and an ice blue 220S in there, though. Also in the pic, but too small to see well, is a circle of eight folks in the water, each holding a beverage of some sort in the air. I assume it is a drinking game, they didn't move the whole time I idled past.
